Naktī uz 13. decembri notika The Game Awards desmitā jubilejas ceremonija — "Oskars" videospēļu pasaulē. Mēs esam apkopojuši visus uzvarētājus vienā rakstā.
Pārsteidzot daudzus, Astro Bot — 3D platformas spēle no Team Asobi un Sony Interactive Entertainment, kas ir ekskluzīvs PlayStation 5, dominēja šī gada The Game Awards ceremonijā, iegūstot "Gada spēle" titulu un pārspējot tādus konkurentus kā Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree un Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
Platformas spēle izpelnījās pozitīvas atsauksmes gan no spēlētājiem, gan kritiķiem, saņemot atzinību par aizraujošu spēles mehāniku, labi izstrādātiem līmeņiem un personāžu daudzveidību, kas atsaucas uz ikoniskām figūrām no citām pasaulēm. Astro Bot ne tikai ieguva GOTY 2024 titulu, bet arī triumfēja kopumā, saņemot četras balvas — vairāk nekā jebkura cita spēle šogad.
Trīs balvas ieguva pokera "rogalike" spēle Balatro: tā uzvarēja kategorijās "Labākā mobilā spēle", "Labākā neatkarīgā spēle" un "Labākais neatkarīgais debijas projekts". Tikmēr Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, neskatoties uz septiņām nominācijām, saņēma tikai vienu balvu. Par labāko RPG izvēlējās Metaphor: ReFantazio no Atlus studijas.
